The Sedlik Family

The Sedlik Family were the highest bidders for my portrait package that I donated to Analy High School's Athletic Department. It works for me, since they are long time friends and a fellow softball family. We met at Howarths Park last week and set out to find some good spots for a long wanted family picture of all the Sedlik's. Young Neil wasn't around for the last family picture and he is getting so big now, he's lost his teeth. I liked a lot of the images we made and I hope they do to.

The entire family.... chilling on the rocks

Beautiful Maely

Handsome RJ- he looks so much like his Dad

And finally Neil... taking pictures was not how young Neil planned to spend his evening.

One of my favorites from the night... this young man is going to be heart breaker.

Finally - jumping for joy... and heading out for dinner I am sure.

and the slideshow: it takes a moment to load so patience is needed :)

You can see the rest of the Sedlik Family on my website password: Sedlik

If you are a friend or family of the Sedlik's please give me a call and book your family session, all referrals from the Sedlik's will receive a free 11x14 wall portrait with their booked session.

Pretty Babies

We have so many pretty babies in my family right now. The youngest being Maria 6 months and Mia 3 months. I went to see both families last weekend and took a few pics to document their quarter and half years of life. I have a feeling these two beauties will be the best of cousins just like their mommies.

up first is Maria, she is six months old; and happy as they come.

next is Mia, Mia is 3 months next week and she LOVES the camera, just like her Daddy.

A Beautiful Bride

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful bride last weekend as a second shooter for Nichanh Petersen I had a great day shooting with Nichanh and Manus Chau. I decided to play around with some colors and give these a little bit of a vintage feel, I think I like it.

Molly H. PHS Class of 2009 Session II

Another session II finally revealing it's self. I think I have the best group of Senior Reps in the county. Molly can't take a bad picture, her eyes are so beautiful and expressive they just take over the show. This is a location I have been thinking about for a few weeks, open fields with views of the hills. And with all the smoke in the air from the recent fires we have had the most amazing evening light. I love these images of the lovely Molly and I hope she does too.

I loved this image, so I decided to see how it would look with texture and a muted bw. Now I can't decide which one I like better

and a new slideshow for your viewing pleasure :) it takes a few moments to load.

Sonya G El Molino HS Class of 2009 Session II

This post has been delayed for a few weeks now, I feel like I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnell. Sonya met me in Downtown Windsor for session II of her senior portraits, I had this idea of using the cool color buildings as backdrop for Sonya all dressed up. I had a hard time picking just a few favorites, Sonya is so easy to photograph. I tried a few fun colors and added some textures. I hope she likes it. Here are few of my favorites

And I redid her slideshow with images from her first session and this session.

as always, you can see all of Sonya's senior portraits on the website password: Sonya

Lexi O. Session II

Lexi's second session was down at Windsor's town green. I wanted the girls to wear dresses for a dressy look. It was a hot day, but I think we had fun. Lexi is easy to photograph with her easy smile and bright dancing eyes.

I hope she likes these pictures, our next stop is the beach.

The Luna Family

Nicole and I had a great time photographing my cousin's The Luna Family. Well I photographed them, Nic held the shade, then proceeded to break it... I was glad to have here with me when I was taking the kids pictures, I made her the butt of my jokes an it made them laugh. I think that is the secret to photographing kids 5-10 you just have to make them laugh. Thanks Kristine & Abie for letting us photograph your great kids, we had a good time at your beautiful home. I have been on a huge Black and White trip lately, so many of my favorites are BW so those are the images I am showcasing here.

and the slideshow: it takes a few moments to load.
