Meet Sophia and her lovely family

I met the lovely Sophia last week at her Grandma's house. She brought her Mommmy Erin, and her Daddy Frank. Big brother Jacob and Big Sister Milana were cool enough to take a break from their swimming day to pose for some family pictures too. It is pretty obvious the family is head over heals over their new baby.

Nick + Donielle = Engagement

Nick and Donielle chose San Francisco as the backdrop for their engagement portraits. We had planned on doing the traditional Crissy Field, Baker Beach scene, but a last minute detour brought us to some of the most beautiful views of San Francisco, off the beaten path. We had the area pretty much to ourselves and we took advantage of it. Nick and Donielle are big SF Giants fans so at the last minute we decided to venture over to AT&T park for a few snaps. Again we were there pretty much by ourselves... except for a very observant bridge patrol guy. Our final stop right as the sun headed down was Baker Beach, I wish we would have had at least 15 more minutes but... that is how it goes. Nick and Donielle are getting married this fall in Rohnert Park and it sounds like they have a great party planned, I am looking forward to their big day, ready to capture the love and affection that is so evident between two. The following is a few, well more than a few of the images we made on their engagement shoot.

and here is the slideshow... it takes a few moments to load... enjoy

Daniel Q. WHS Class of 2009

How lucky am I that this handsome young man has agreed to be my Senior Rep for Windsor High School, AND he has agreed to be my assistant AND he is my "favorite" nephew. Lucky isn't the word, blessed is a better word to describe how I feel when I am around Daniel. I have never known such an honest and hardworking young person; he reminds me of myself at his age (j/k). But all kidding aside Daniel is all those things and more. He has such an enthusiasm for all of his many hobbies and interest. When he told me he wanted to buy a camera I never dreamed he would take it so seriously, and he is such a help when he assists me on photo shoots, never a complain (j/k) he does complain but usually it is justifiable, I can be a bit of a pita I know. Be it mountain biking, school, work, or photography Daniel works hard and gives his all to everything thing he does. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this handsome young man, I know it will be bright. So up next are a few images from Daniels first photo shoot over a month ago. I apologize for the delay, but you know what they say about the cobblers kids and their shoes....

Trinity & Matt Engagement Session

I met a new friend last weekend, we hit it off right away, I want you to meet my new friend Taliya

Taliya came along to join me as we shot Matt and Trinity's engagement session. I could not have been luckier. We went to Korbel Winery on the most beautiful evening. Trinity & Matt are getting married in September and after this shoot I can't wait for their wedding. Trinity is going to be a beautiful bride, and the handsome Matt will make a dashing groom. We were fortunate enough to have the entire winery to ourselves so we roamed the place. If you have not been to Korbel it is a treat you should not miss. Everywhere I turned the light was golden and I had such a great time getting to know Matt and Trinity. As you can see I really liked this session and I have so many images I love, I don't even know if I can call this my favorites because I loved them all

And no blog post would be complete with out a slideshow, it takes a few minutes to load:

The lovely Sonya agreed to be my Senior Rep for El Molino High School. How lucky am I didn't have to go far to find this beauty, she is David's cousin. We had a good time on our first outing... you know there has to be more, and we found a cool new spot downtown too. The following are a few of my favorites, I decided to do a few with some textures and deep colors for a little kick.
