Kristen Piner High School

Kristen chose Luther Burbank Gardens for the spot for her senior portraits. This was my first time to the gardens and they are just beautiful. Kristen is all style... she had cute outfits all coordinated with matching jewlery and flip flops... we had a good time until the rain drops put an end to our session. Lucky for me we were near done. I hope she likes her picture as much as I do.

The Mengelberg Family

The Mengleberg's and I had lots of fun at Spring Lake. We had a nice evening with beautiful light and a beautiful backdrop for the Mengleberg's first family portrait session. The kids were great; Ethan with his Popeye eyebrows kept me laughing... sorry I didn't post any I may go back and find one; and little Estele was a beauty. I think we captured some nice images and I hope they enjoy them. I had lots of favorites as you can tell.

The De La Ossa Family

The De La Ossa, Chris, Isabel and the beauty Ava. Ava looks like a baby Snow White. She has got to be one of the prettiest baby I have ever met and she was just as happy as can be. Little Ava is obviously the apple of her Daddy's eye and she thinks he is all that too. Thank you for inviting me to your lovely home; I had a great time meeting and photographing your family.

Rebecca and Sarah

The timing was perfect for this photoshoot; I don't usually go to the South Bay for photoshoots but I am glad I was able to make this happen. Rebecca and Sarah are two beauties; with quick smiles and shining eyes they made my job easy. Rebecca is a natural model and her big blue eyes are a photographers dream and little Sarah was easy as pie. Thank you Sandy for inviting me to photograph your beautiful daughters. Here are a few of my favorites

The slideshow has one of my all time favorite mommy songs; I have been waiting for daughters to use this song on. Please be patient it takes a few moments to load.

Senior Session Photo Books

I love High School Seniors! They are by far the funniest clients I photograph; to date I have been fortunate enough to have the best seniors in Sonoma County. The energy and ideas they bring to the session is so refreshing. Most of the images I take and later process speak to me and they are personal expressions of me and my art. As a parent I understand how hard it is not to buy all of your kids pictures... we have all done it with our babies; I couldn't bear to leave one image behind when I had my kids photographed. And as the photographer I want all my images to have a home and to be shared and enjoyed. So this year I have included a session album with each of my packages. The response has been great and I love desiging a special book for all of the clients. Here are few of my favorite pages from Rocky's senior session ablum. Everyone who knows Rocky aka Jessica knows she is a stud softball catcher so naturally we had to do some softball pictures; Rocky enjoys riding her ATV so that come to the session too; and of course all girls love to look beautiful so we have the beauty shots that focus on her beautiful blue eyes.

Loni and Dustin's Engagement Pictures

Loni and Dustin wanted San Francisco's Baker Beach for their engagement pictures. Dustin and Loni are getting married in Michigan and they are headed back east soon; so we didn't have many dates available to get these done. As luck would have it I was coming up from San Jose on Saturday so we met on the way home. The sun was just begininng to set as we arrived on the beach. It was so cold but they went without jackets and they were great sports as we jamed through the session trying to beat the sun. I was forced to break out my onelight set up; and I was so pleased with the results.... I am anxious now to try my setup for each new session. We are doing a guest book so there is a page of the book and a few of my favorite images.

Torre ~ El Molino High School Class of 2008

It was a treat for me to take Torre's senior portraits. I knew Torre when she was a little girl and she would come visit her Grandma Lois. Lois was my next door neighbor for years and little Torre would come over for piano lessons and if I was lucky; I would hear them both sing and play the piano. Lois has been gone for a few years now and I hadn't seen the grandkids for a long time. Little Torre has grown up to be a beautiful young woman with a quick smile and sparkling hazel eyes. We picked a park with lots of natural elements, you can't beat Weeping Willow Trees, Majestic Oaks and Rolling Vineyards for a true Sonoma County back drop. Here are few of my favorites of Torre I hope she enjoys them.

Ryan, Lisa and Conner- Engagement

Ryan and Lisa had their first date at Spring Lake, so naturally we went back there for their Engagement Portraits. Their handsome son Conner came along too and we did a combanation of Engagment/Family Portraits. As luck would have it we picked the hottest day of the year, so seeking shade was a high priority. This loving family is getting married next month and I am so excited to be their photographer. Monterey will be a beautiful backdrop for the wedding. Congratulations Lisa & Ryan and of course Conner.

Meet Rocky

Howarths Park was the background for Rocky's senior portraits. We had a beautiful evening to shoot with, as we searched for the golden light of the late summer. Rocky is my old neighbor and I was excited to do her pictures; we are doing them in 2 parts to cover all of Rocky's hobbies and passions. Here is Rocky's slideshow from our first session; next week we are getting out the softball gear and her ATV, be sure to check back. The show takes a few moments to load, so patience please.
