Mike and Monica had a beautiful San Francisco wedding last weekend; at St. Paul's Cathedral. This wedding was full of family traditions Mike's grandparents were married at St. Pauls and he wanted to marry Monica, his "love at first sight" bride there. We were surrounded by the love and friendship you can only find at a wedding of two very loved individuals who joined their lives and the lives of their families forever.
A moment that will stick with me is when I was waiting outside the church with Mike and Monica and people passing by were smiling and wishing them congratulations; then an older gentlemen came up to Monica and said his parents were married in this church, and they lived 64 happy years together and he wished her and her groom the same. He couldn't hold back the tears because he had just lost his mom, and when I turned around, I could see Monica had tears too; it was so kind of this stranger to wish her this heart felt congratulations.
